Blue Jays Edge Past Rangers, 5-4
|
The Toronto Blue Jays picked up a win at Exhibition Stadium 1977, knocking off the Texas Rangers, 5-4. Starting pitcher Storm Davis was a big reason why. Toronto is now riding a 3-game win streak.
The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Toronto trailing 4-3, Amos Otis hit a curveball from John Sutton to center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Blue Jays had a walk-off win.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Davis told the Toronto Observer.
