|
California starter Ray Fontenot put a stranglehold on the Cleveland offense. The left-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Angels to a 6-0 win. The 5th-place Spiders have lost 4 straight games.
Fontenot, the California left-hander, went 8.2 innings, allowing no runs on 5 hits. He collected 5 strikeouts.
