The Orioles got a big at-bat from third baseman Ron Cey. For the game, Cey went 1-4 with a double. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Baltimore a 1-0 lead.
