White Sox Roll to 9-2 Win Over Orioles
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Baltimore Orioles and Chicago White Sox get after it.
Chicago starter Pete Vuckovich kept the Baltimore hitters in check, helping his team cruise to a win, 9-2. With the win, Chicago upped its record to 57-54.
In the bottom of the third, Chicago third baseman Ryan MacFarland had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and no one out, MacFarland stroked a bases-clearing double to right-center. It made the score 5-0, Chicago. For the game, he went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Vuckovich.
