Minnesota center fielder Chet Lemon was sensational. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 3, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Seattle beat the Twins, 14-13. Nick Bowditch, credited with the save, is now 20 for 28 in save opportunities. The second-place Mariners have won 7 straight games.

It could have been a different outcome for Seattle, had it not been for Mike Stenhouse, the 24-year old center fielder . Stenhouse contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the first inning to put Seattle up, 2-0.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Stenhouse said.
