Big Day for Foster as Twins Down Orioles, 10-7
The Minnesota Twins trumped the Baltimore Orioles, 10-7, at Metrodome 1983. Minnesota right fielder George Foster was terrific. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Fred Breining converted his 7th save in 10 tries. Minnesota now has a 4-game win streak.

Lee Lacy, who is tied for 10th in the AL in runs scored with 73, chipped in for Minnesota with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Foster said.
