Orioles Take Down Rangers, 2-1
|
Baltimore beat Texas on the strength of starter Don Robinson's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 2-1. Baltimore, with the win, is 43-81.
Willie McGee provided a timely hit. The Baltimore right fielder delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the tenth inning to put the Orioles on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
"We take it day by day here," said McGee, "and today was a good one for us."
