The timely hitting of Brian Rosinski helped the California Angels down the Milwaukee Brewers, 8-7. Rosinski was 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Angels. California reliever Bob McClure picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Enrique Reyes took the loss. Eric Prevost converted his 2nd save in 2 tries.

Rosinski had an important at-bat with a runner on 3rd in the bottom of the eighth, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Angels went on to win.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said California manager Zim Padres.

California raised its record to 74-52 with the win.
