Candelaria Now 1-2 After Subduing Yankees
|
The Chicago White Sox picked up a win at Comiskey Park 1969, knocking off the New York Yankees, 4-0. On the mound for Chicago was left-hander John Candelaria, who played a pivotal role in the win. Chicago goes to 6-7.
Candelaria delivered a quality start for Chicago. The 6' 7" left-hander allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 7.2 innings of work.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Candelaria said.
