Phillies Lose to Cubs, 6-3
|
Chicago pitcher Danny Darwin did his part in helping his team beat the Philadelphia Phillies, 6-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Darwin picked up the win for Chicago, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 7-3. Robert Weismiller got the save, his 4th in 6 chances.
