Reds Suffer 4-1 Home Loss
|
Alan Knicely was masterful in helping the Atlanta Braves take down the Cincinnati Reds, 4-1. Charlie Lea was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 22 of 28 save opportunities. The winning continues for Atlanta, with the latest making it 8 straight.
Atlanta relied on the bat of John Freitas to get the win. The third baseman ripped a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Braves ahead, 4-1. For the game, Freitas had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"Everything felt in sync," said Knicely.
