Nolan Finds Groove in 3-1 Triumph
|
Cincinnati starter Gary Nolan had a strong outing against the Houston Astros at Astrodome 1965. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-1 win. The loss puts Houston at 6-11.
Nolan dominated for Cincinnati, raising his record to 3-1. Houston hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 4 hits over 9 innings while striking out 3.
"It was a good effort all around," said Nolan.
