Jackson Bewilders Oaks in 6-0 Shutout
In an outstanding mound performance, Wichita Aeros starter Darrell Jackson fired a complete-game shutout against the Iowa Oaks at Sec Taylor Stadium today.

Jackson was the key to the Aeros's 6-0 win. The 26-year-old left-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 5 hits and 4 walks he allowed.

"5 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout."

To this point in the season, Jackson shows a 14-10 record, 29 starts, 225 innings, 128 strikeouts and a 3.00 ERA.
