|
The New York Mets went down to defeat to Tim Costello and his San Francisco teammates. The final score was 2-1 in favor of the Giants. The win gives San Francisco a record of 12-10.
Phil Bailey was the walk-off hero for San Francisco. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Giants left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
