Molina Now 3-1 After Subduing Reds
|
Pitcher Ramon Molina was sensational for the Houston Astros in his team's 1-0 triumph over the Cincinnati Reds. Molina picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Doug Capilla recorded his 2nd save for Houston. The defeat makes Cincinnati 13-13.
Molina was in the zone all game. He frustrated Cincinnati hitters while giving the Astros 8 innings of quality work. Molina threw 120 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 6 punchouts.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Houston skipper Michael Rogner.
