Savannah Shuts Out Hornets, Rasmussen Winner
|
Dennis Rasmussen pitched a strong game at Grayson Stadium today, blanking the Charlotte Hornets 1-0. Rasmussen allowed no runs on 2 hits, totaled 6 strikeouts and gave up 3 walks.
Savannah manager said he could tell immediately it was going to be a good game for Rasmussen.
"Right from the start, you could see how economical he was," said. "He threw a lot of strikes."
This season Rasmussen has worked 49.2 innings with 37 strikeouts en route to a 5-0 record and a 2.54 ERA.
