Bream on Fire, 5-for-5 Against El Paso
Sid Bream exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Hebron Estates Grounds.

The Dallas-Fort Worth right fielder had a field day in the 17-6 triumph over the El Paso Chihuahuas, finishing 5-for-5.

"My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."

Bream must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Sid Bream singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Tom Smith in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Manuel Adams in the 7th and walked in the 8th.

This season Bream has hit at a .333 clip and produced 77 RBI, 21 home runs and 70 runs.
