Lodi Crushers pitcher John Franco blanked the Salinas Fire Frogs 7-0 at Lawrence Park today, tossing a 4-hitter while issuing 1 walk and collecting 7 strikeouts.

After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club.

"I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Franco said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today."

For the year Franco has compiled a 2-2 record with a 4.36 ERA.
