Win Makes Seattle 31-19
|
Kenneth Kollmyer could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Boston Red Sox lost, dropping a 2-0 decision to the Seattle Mariners at Kingdome 1977. The Mariners have an impressive 31-19 record.
Seattle took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With two out, catcher Ken Reitz hit a 2-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Reitz said.
