Tibbs Records 6-0 Shutout Against Wausau
|
Jay Tibbs handcuffed the Wausau Timbers at Waterloo Municipal Stadium today, coming away with a 2-hit, complete game shutout.
"I had everything working for me out there," the Waterloo Hawks right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted."
With his stuff working, Tibbs had little trouble with the Timbers and led the Hawks to victory, 6-0. He recorded 6 strikeouts and 3 walks in an impressive performance.
