Indians Flame Out Against McDevitt, Blue Jays
|
Steve McDevitt had the Oneonta Indians dancing to his tune today with a sparkling 6-0 shutout performance for the Utica Blue Jays. He gave up 1 hit, issued 2 walks and had 13 strikeouts.
Oneonta hitters were bewildered throughout the game by his delivery.
"When you face a guy who hides the ball like he does, it takes a couple of at-bats to try to find his release point," opposing manager said. "We just never figured him out."
