Jensen Sends Sumter Bats to Deep Freeze
|
Ron Jensen had an impressive outing at Meadowbrook Park today, hurling the Greenville Spinners to a 2-0 shutout victory over the Sumter Gamecocks.
"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Sumter skipper said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."
On the day, the left-handed Jensen yielded 3 hits and tallied 7 strikeouts with 1 walk.
