Reds Sneak By Braves, 3-2
|
The Cincinnati Reds beat the Atlanta Braves, 3-2. Cincinnati pitcher and The United States, native Gary Nolan led the way. The loss has the Braves at 2-4.
A crucial at-bat came with the bases empty and no one out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when pinch hitter Jim Bennett hit a triple. The Reds went on to win.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Nolan said after the game.
