It wasn't easy but the Greenville Spinners made it look that way.

Starter Richard Hille shut out the Gastonia Rockets despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Greenville Spinners cruised to victory, 7-0. Hille allowed only 2 hits and rang up 4 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win.

"It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."

Thus far this season, Hille has worked 184.1 innings with 76 strikeouts en route to a 12-8 record and a 3.03 ERA.
