Orioles Stumble, Lose to Brewers
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Baltimore Orioles and Milwaukee Brewers get after it.
The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Baltimore Orioles, 8-3, at Milwaukee County Stadium 1976 today. Leading the charge for Milwaukee was right fielder Ken Landreaux. He went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. Milwaukee now owns a record of 77-78.
Eddie Murray, who finished 5th in the AL in home runs with 30 in 1975, contributed to the Milwaukee win with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Landreaux.
