Davis Sparkles in 3-0 Shutout
|
Joel Davis kept the Blacksburg Tribe hitters off balance all game long as the Johnson City Soilders pitcher blanked the Tribe, 3-0.
Davis gave up 3 hits, struck out 5 and walked 1. In the postgame press conference, the right-hander was reluctant to talk about the outing at length.
"It was a nice win in a long season," he said. "I don't want to dwell too much on it."
