Extra-Inning Win by Brewers Over Red Sox
|
Milwaukee pitcher Gary Lucas did his part in helping his team beat the Boston Red Sox, 4-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Milwaukee reliever Jordan Ortiz got the win, raising his record to 5-4. Luis Albo was tagged with the loss. The win puts the Brewers at 35-37, while the Red Sox drop to 51-20.
The most important at-bat for Milwaukee came in the top of the 11th inning. With two out, Tim Laudner reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run, putting Milwaukee up, 4-3.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Laudner.
