Biggus Tosses 3-0 Shutout Against Colon
|
Bengie Biggus subdued the Colon Scallywags, 3-0, pitching a 4-hit gem for the Bridgetown Tridents at Ballpark of Bridgetown.
"He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Bridgetown skipper said afterward.
Biggus registered 1 strikeout and issued 3 walks in his superb performance.
"We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Colon manager after the defeat.
