Padres McDonald Lost for Year Sunday, August 8th, 1982 The San Diego Padres were dealt a blow today when left fielder Jerry McDonald left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that McDonald has suffered a broken kneecap and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. This season in 110 games, McDonald has hit at a .208 clip with 80 hits, 15 home runs, 54 RBIs and 48 runs scored. |
