Joe Bivins Rockets 3 Home Runs

Joe Bivins was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 10-1 Knoxville Blue Jays triumph at McCormick Field today.
The 29-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Blue Jays past the Asheville Tourists.
"One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Bivins told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."
The first baseman went 3-for-5, rung up 3 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day.
Joe Bivins hit a solo-shot off Roger Mason in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Roger Mason in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Frank DeJiulio in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
Bivins's current batting average stands at .335 and he has chalked up 11 home runs and 41 RBIs.
