Playoffs? No Chance for Columbus Tuesday, September 7th, 1982 Columbus Skeeters fans have long since given up any meager playoff hopes. The Skeeters made it official today, becoming mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. This is the club's 10th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1972. In total, the Skeeters have missed the playoffs 11 times in their 12-year history. |
