Suns Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, September 11th, 1982 Jacksonville Suns fans were hoping for a better outcome to this season, but it will end without a playoff berth, as the team was officially eliminated today. Jacksonville last appeared in the postseason in 1972. This is their 10th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 11 times in their 12-year history. |
