Hurler Accepts TL Player of the Week Trophy Monday, July 26th, 1982 Youth was served last week as 23-year-old Brad Lesley put together a remarkable stretch on the mound, outpacing all other Texas League pitchers and hitters to win Player of the Week honors. The Albuquerque Dukes hurler rang up 12 strikeouts in 17 innings, compiling an ERA of 0.53 and posting a fine 2-0 mark. On the year Lesley has worked 130 innings with 92 strikeouts en route to a 10-4 record and 3.12 ERA. |
