Season Over for Rafaele Cerretti in Albuquerque Sunday, August 1st, 1982 The season is apparently over for Rafaele Cerretti. The Albuquerque Dukes medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 4 months with shoulder inflammation. Cerretti was hurt in the game against Memphis while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This season Cerretti has crafted a 12-2 mark with a 4.14 ERA in 145.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .235 against him and he has 117 strikeouts. |
