That's what Curt Young was doing at Ray Winder Field today as he blanked the El Paso Sun Kings in a 9-inning complete game shutout. "I went out there to try to eat up innings and help out our bullpen," the Arkansas Travelers left-hander said later. "I felt I had my good stuff, and it turned out my command was solid." Young notched 10 strikeouts, surrendered 1 walk, allowed 7 hits, and kept the bullpen phone quiet all day long. On the season Young has a 15-4 record with a 3.01 ERA. View Boxscore |
