Buechele Wins CLL Player of the Week Honors Monday, July 12th, 1982 The California League has selected Steve Buechele of the Bakersfield Bears as Player of the Week. He hit .500 (10-for-20) this past week collecting 12 RBIs, scored 6 runs and hit 3 home runs. For the year Buechele is batting .337 with 8 home runs, 54 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |
