CLL's Top Player Named Monday, July 26th, 1982 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the California League, but last week Ed Sedar of the Visalia Mets reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Sedar rocked opposing pitching for a .429 average (12-for-28), 1 home run and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this season Sedar is hitting .237 with 6 home runs. |
