Stockton Shuts Out Bakersfield Behind Brecht, 7-0 Tuesday, July 27th, 1982 Stockton's Michael Brecht breezed through the Bears lineup today, collecting a 4-hit shutout and a 7-0 victory along the way. Brecht fanned 9 as well. "I didn't really feel like I had my game today," Brecht confessed, "but some days are like that -- you just gotta go with what you have."
