FSL's Best Player, Kiefer of West Palm Beach Monday, June 21st, 1982 Steve Kiefer is respected by most West Palm Beach Expos fans for his no-frills style of play. The 21-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Florida State League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .417 average (10-for-24) with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 7 runs scored. For the year Kiefer is batting .308 with 10 home runs. |
