In a powerful performance that left the fans at Joker Marchant Stadium buzzing, Lakeland Pilots first baseman Mike Laga blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 11-0 win over the Cocoa Flyers.
"Everything was clicking," Laga told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Laga shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 4 at-bats, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Pilots manager said. "Mike played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
