Pirates No Match for Aguilar, Blue Jays in 10-0 Thumping Tuesday, July 27th, 1982 It wasn't easy but the Dunedin Blue Jays made it look that way. Starter Hugo Aguilar shut out the Tampa Pirates despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Dunedin Blue Jays cruised to victory, 10-0. Aguilar allowed only 6 hits and rang up 6 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."
