But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In July the Pompano Beach starter earned a 6-1 mark in 8 starts. He threw 64.2 innings, struck out 49 and compiled a solid 2.37 ERA. This year Gonzalez has a 11-6 mark in 20 starts with a 3.35 ERA.
