Bejar Pitches Gem as Pilots Beat Daytona Beach, 7-0 Tuesday, August 3rd, 1982 In an excellent mound performance, Emilio Bejar of the Lakeland Pilots whitewashed the Daytona Beach Islanders 7-0 on a 3-hitter. "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game. In all, the Lakeland hurler rang up 13 strikeouts and 2 walks in the shutout win.
