Estrada Leads Fort Myers to 8-0 Win Over St. Petersburg Wednesday, August 4th, 1982 Mel Estrada really had his stuff working at Al Lang Field today. The Fort Myers Palms hurler mystified the St. Petersburg Saints and shut them out 8-0. Estrada allowed a total of 3 hits in the ballgame and struck out 5. "The shutout is nice but I'm just happy we won," Estrada said with a smile after the game. "Coach can be a real bear when we lose."
