Burlington Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Saturday, July 31st, 1982 It's no surprise that the Burlington Senators have been bad this season. But those who might not have been paying close attention to the math might not have realized - the team is now officially eliminated from postseason contention. Burlington last appeared in the postseason in 1975. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 8 times in their 12-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Senators have missed the playoffs 6 times. Burlington has won the Round 1 2 times in their history. |
