Wednesday, August 18th, 1982
Duane Ware handcuffed the Burlington Senators at Lynchburg City Stadium today, coming away with a 4-hit, complete game shutout.

"I had everything working for me out there," the Lynchburg Hillcats right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted."

With his stuff working, Ware had little trouble with the Senators and led the Hillcats to victory, 6-0. He recorded 4 strikeouts and 2 walks in an impressive performance.

Ware has made 21 starts, tossed 142.1 innings, struck out 67 batters and walked 49. His record is 7-8 with a 3.48 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .247 batting average.
