Pedroza Brilliant, Blanks Rebels Thursday, August 5th, 1982 It wasn't easy but Tony Pedroza made it look that way. Pedroza silenced the Anderson Rebels, 3-0, in a Greenville Spinners triumph at Anderson Memorial Stadium today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Pedroza said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 3 walks and 4 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." To date this season Pedroza has compiled a 7-14 record with a 3.30 ERA in 23 starts. View Boxscore |
