Hatcher Cops MWL Batter of the Month Honors Sunday, August 1st, 1982 Billy Hatcher put together a good July to earn the Midwest League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Danville officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Veterans right fielder posted a .355 batting average with 3 home runs, 20 RBIs and 20 runs scored. So far this year, Hatcher is batting .325 with 4 home runs and 30 RBIs. |
