Frank Shuts Out Walleyes, 3-0 Sunday, August 1st, 1982 In a seemingly effortless performance, Gary Frank of the Renton Wrecks shot down the Walla Walla Walleyes 3-0 on a 6-hit shutout. "Gary was just locating so well and using his pitches," Renton manager said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Frank recorded 6 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Walla Walla manager said in his postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
