Perez, Dust Devils Shut Out Wrecks, 7-0 Wednesday, August 4th, 1982 It wasn't easy but Guillermo Perez made it look that way. Perez silenced the Renton Wrecks, 7-0, in a Tri-City Dust Devils triumph at Sanders-Jacobs Field today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Perez said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 1 walk and 4 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else."
